Strategic Account Executive – Job Summary
FoodChain ID seeks a dynamic and results-driven Strategic Account Executive (SAE)to expand its reach within the food and beverage industry, specifically targeting companies with revenues of $850M+ in the Enterprise segment.
This role focuses on recipe and specification management solutions, helping clients optimize their processes, meet compliance requirements, and achieve sustainability goals. As a “hunter,” your primary responsibility will be acquiring new logos, building relationships with key decision-makers, and closing complex, high-value deals.
You will work directly with global food and beverage companies to identify pain points, present tailored solutions, and deliver measurable business outcomes using FoodChain ID’s industry-leading recipe and specification management offerings.
Key Responsibilities

Lead commercial business development within the food and beverage sector, emphasizing recipe and specification management solutions.

Achieve double-digit annual growth across assigned accounts and service lines.

Develop sales strategies aligned with FoodChain ID’s mission and vision, focusing on solving customer challenges in recipe and specification management.

Meet with enterprise clients to establish relationships, identify needs, and present FoodChain ID’s tailored solutions.

Navigate B2B sales cycles to negotiate and close deals, ensuring alignment with client objectives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, engaging internal subject matter experts to address specific client requirements.

Expand service line adoption across FoodChain ID’s recipe and specification management portfolio.

Represent FoodChain ID at trade associations and industry events.

Actively participate in strategic planning, providing feedback on market trends, competitive insights, and client needs.

Use Salesforce as the central repository for all sales activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of success in closing enterprise-level deals ($100K+ ARR )

Demonstrated expertise in selling solutions related to recipe and specification management, product development, or compliance within the food and beverage industry

Familiarity with the challenges of product development, regulatory compliance, and recipe management in the food and beverage sector.

Experience in SaaS solution sales or technical services supporting food and beverage manufacturers.

Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce experience required).

Strong understanding of sales processes, including lead generation, qualification, and closing.

Competency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
