This role will work closely with product managers, engineers, UI/UX designers, and the storefront team to maintain the integrity of our digital experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute manual testing across web and mobile storefronts, covering key user journeys, regressions, and feature releases.
  • Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility, validating performance on different screen sizes, operating systems, and environments.
  • Verify that designs match Figma files precisely, ensuring pixel-perfect UI implementation and design consistency.
  • Check end-to-end user flows, ensuring they make sense from a consumer experience perspective and that interactions feel intuitive, smooth, and frictionless.
  • Maintain a high bar for quality, ensuring that every product and release meets our standards for an exceptional user experience before going live.
  • Accurately document and report bugs, prioritizing blockers with product managers for release and ensuring issues are clearly communicated for resolution.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and UI/UX teams to validate fixes and improvements before deployment.
  • Develop and maintain detailed test cases and checklists to ensure comprehensive coverage of new and existing functionality.
  • Own UAT testing and work closely with stakeholders to sign off on final approvals before launches.
  • Monitor live releases for post-deployment issues, ensuring smooth rollouts and quick bug resolution.
  • Work with the team to continuously improve testing processes, identifying gaps in coverage and potential areas for automation.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of experience in manual QA testing focused on eCommerce storefronts (web & mobile apps).
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong ability to catch inconsistencies, usability issues, and functional gaps.
  • Experience testing across multiple browsers, mobile devices (iOS & Android), and screen resolutions.
  • Strong ability to write clear, structured bug reports and work with engineering to prioritize critical issues.
  • Experience in validating UI/UX against Figma designs, ensuring visual accuracy and consistency.
  • Familiarity with QA best practices, exploratory testing, and regression testing.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, agile environments, managing multiple releases at once.
  • Passion for ensuring a seamless, high-quality customer experience across digital platforms.

This is a 6 month contract role.

What We Do

We started Quince to challenge the existing idea that nice things should cost a lot. Our mission is simple: create an item of equal or greater quality than the leading luxury brands at a much lower price.

We did this by revising every part of a traditional retailer's playbook. We cut out all the middlemen and managed every element of the item's creation ourselves, including packaging and transportation.

The end result: Quince goods are incredibly high quality, made in a sustainable way, and sold at radically lower prices. We hope you’ll compare our products with any premium branded ones, and see why our customers rate Quince so highly.

Quince has raised $65 MM from Insight, Founders Fund, 8VC, Basis Set Ventures., and Luggard Road.
