STARK Group IT is looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to help lead feature team

At STARK we have embarked on a digital journey and with own established development teams and involving our entire value chain from sourcing to sales and every IT system that helps serve our customers better. We therefore require Senior Software Developers to help build the applications and platforms upon which we build the rest of our new IT landscape.

Our development teams have a big responsibility at STARK IT and are responsible for designing, developing, and implementing original software solutions for our business applications including data produced within their own product domain as well as interfaces towards other applications both up and down stream.

Our Senior Software Developers do not have people management responsibilities, but they play a crucial part in defining the team, hiring the right technical candidates, and making sure that our new colleagues are onboarded correctly.

Core Job Responsibilities

• Help in leading a feature team to develop and maintain our production-level POS solution.
• Translate product designs into high-quality frontend implementations using React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS.
• Ensure the quality and stability of the codebase through best practices and code reviews.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, business analysts, and product designers to refine frontend development tasks.
• Participate and help in leading in Scrum activities, including sprint planning and refinement.
• Coordinate effectively with a distributed team across multiple nationalities to meet project deadlines.
• Coaching of internal junior colleagues on best practices in terms of software development, teamwork, estimation, technology selection, and QA.

Who We Are Looking For

• A senior frontend developer with expertise in React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS.
• Strong experience with integrating single page applications with backend services.
• Leadership skills with a track record of ensuring code quality and stability.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (ideally Azure) and CI/CD setups.
• Experience working in enterprise-scale environments and coordinating with multiple teams.
• Comfortable balancing deadlines and finding the right solutions.
• Strong understanding of Scrum methodologies and experience leading refinement sessions.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional, distributed teams.
