Job Description

We are looking for Test Product Engineer and this position is expected to provide test manufacturing support for products post manufacturing release and deliver operational excellence through cost reductions, OEE, yield and cycle time improvements to achieve our test KPI goals.
The incumbent will work with our Probe/Test Manufacturing Suppliers in Taiwan and across Asia to perform the following key functions:

• Interface with Key Product Line and other functional teams (Planning, Quality, Packaging, Foundry) across US, Japan, Malaysia, and China on all phases of product life-cycle to support key KPI deliverables on Revenue, Gross Margin Improvements, NPI, Quality and Integrations
• Execute day to day sustaining of test manufacturing activities with sub-contractors (Lot Dispositions, Hardware Troubleshooting/Repairs, Equipment up-time, Tester Utilization OEE tracking, Continuous Improvement Process, etc) to ensure delivery fulfillment
• Support overall test capacity expansion and flexibility by coordinating equipment/ hardware movements, build, purchase and buyoff for full production release
• Review and execute best known practices and process to ensure test solutions received is adequate and meets all agreed expectations (example yield entitlements, number of hardware, test times etc.). 
• Identify opportunities and execute action plans to drive Gross Margins (OEE, Yield, Retest) improvement and test time reductions to meet targeted yields and cost
• Support respective Product Line Engineering organizations to ensure smooth transition of products from New Product Introduction to High Volume Manufacturing

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelors Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering 
• Preferable with > 3 years of experience in High Volume Semiconductor Manufacturing environment preferably in Test Manufacturing or Test Product Engineering role
• Experience in supporting Test subcontractors/Automotive is a definite advantage
• Knowledge of analog/digital/power devices and Visual Basic/C/C++ programming
• Experience with ATE tester platforms (Teradyne EST364/uFlex/iFlex/J750, Advantest 93k, Accotest STS8300) and test handler/prober platforms
• Excellent problem solving ability (8D, Why-Why Analysis, Process & Manufacturing challenges)
• Strong data analysis skills and familiar with Statistical Tools (JMP/ DataPower)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with people at all levels
• Conducts with utmost honesty and integrity
• Self-directed with strong desire to be part of a winning team
• Knowledge of PAT, SBL, SPC, DOE, FMEA and Six Sigma, etc. is an added advantage
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
