Staff Technical Specialist at a glance
The Staff Technical Specialist, Time & Pay is responsible for the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of technology solutions for the HR function to enhance employee experiences and optimize HR processes and tools globally. This role collaborates with a cross-functional team to gather requirements and then independently develops code, builds features, and troubleshoots issues. As an active member of a global community of technologists, this role also provides informal coaching to junior developers.

  • Develop and implement HR tech, ensuring alignment with engineering best practices.


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Product, Finance, Design, and Operations to align technology initiatives with overall business objectives .


  • Continuously assess and optimize HR systems, processes, and workflows to enhance efficiency, user experience, and data integrity.


  • Ensure HR technology systems comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and data security protocols.


  • Execute on modern platform architecture approaches to meet key business objectives and provide end-to-end HR technology solutions.


  • Support change management efforts related to HR technology implementations, upgrades, and process enhancements, ensuring successful adoption and integration.

  • Experience with digital HR products, including product strategy, vision, and gathering of requirements.


  • E xperience working with Product and/or Agile development teams, preferably in Human Resources and/or HR Technology.


  • Previous experienc e participating in software engineering teams to implement and support enterprise-grade platforms.


  • U nderstanding of contemporary cloud infrastruct ure and application development.


  • C ollaborator with cross-functional teams from product, design, HR and other parts of the KHC business.


  • Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD processes, version control systems, and development frameworks.

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$118,400.00 - $148,000.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
