Are you a leader in software/application development project management? Walmart is hiring a Staff Technical Program Manager with at least 7+ years of experience leading large-scale software/application development projects! As a seasoned professional, you'll bring your expertise to drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects while possessing the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous situations. Your proficiency in Agile methods and enterprise software engineering programs, coupled with your experience using project management tools, will ensure seamless project execution. As a champion of product vision, strategy, and roadmap, you'll have excellent written and verbal communication skills to document and communicate project commitments, progress status, issues, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership. What you’ll do:
- Manage multiple highly complex projects or a large complex Care applications programs by driving projects through the lifecycle phases to successful completion as defined in project's charter; serving as the program lead for multiple projects; developing and maintaining a project schedule to track milestones; developing and executing plans for managing risk; escalating project-related issues to management in accordance with project guidelines and requirements; managing project change control processes; coordinating production issue resolution; interpreting data to help guide teams towards issue resolution and risk management; making recommendations regarding solutions to problems or issues; and presenting project status updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Demonstrate up-to-date expertise and apply this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.
- Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.
- Model compliance with company policies and procedures and support company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.

What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 9+ years of technical project or program management experience OR Master’s degree in Computer science, Information Technology with 7+years of technical project or program management experience.
- Have experience with Agile methods including Scrum and Kanban.
- Have enterprise software engineering program management experience for full SDLC.
- Have experience using product backlog management tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Project for planning, execution, and release transparency. Should be able to build a project plan – milestones with work breakdown.
- Ability to articulate technical concepts in business terms through MS Office tools including MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- You champion product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the product area in support of corporate goals and objectives
- You drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects spread across various domains and geographies.
- You drive project implementation and deployment for large, complex, and ambiguous projects.
- You are a proactive problem solver who operates effectively and independently, even in areas of uncertainty and ambiguity.
- You are a team player, with the courage to drive change through disruption while maintaining a respect for the team.
- You possess strong collaboration skills and approach problems with positive intent while driving towards resolution.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
