We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Staff Product Manager to own the entire user experience of our flagship mobile app. This isn't just about features; it's about shaping how families interact with their finances and ensure the safety of their loved ones at all times. You will be the driving force behind ensuring every family, from day one, enjoys a guided, engaging, and deeply personalized experience every time they open the Greenlight app.


This role is absolutely critical to Greenlight's continued success. You will be at the epicenter of our mission to empower families to take control of their financial future and ensure their safety. Your work will directly influence how families navigate our app, discover its full potential, learn from each other, and, most importantly, take action on crucial financial and safety decisions. This is a high-impact opportunity to redefine the landscape of family finance and safety.


In this role, you will partner closely with stakeholders in Product, Marketing, Design, Research, Data and Engineering to define and execute the mobile app experience roadmap. The ideal candidate will shape the product vision and strategy as well as drive execution across our teams. You will be responsible for all elements of Greenlight’s app experience, ensuring we deliver an intuitive, engaging, and personalized experience that helps families seamlessly navigate and access the tools they need.

Your day-to-day:

  • Lead – Own the entire user experience vision and strategy for the Greenlight mobile app, ensuring it aligns with Greenlight’s mission and user needs.
  • Prioritize and Execute – Work cross-functionally with design, engineering, and data teams to prioritize and ship impactful features.
  • Understand User Needs – Use qualitative and quantitative insights to understand user behaviors, pain points, and opportunities.
  • Measure and Iterate – Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to app engagement, feature usage, and customer satisfaction to identify areas for optimization and inform product decisions.
  • Communicate Impact and Challenges – Regularly share progress, key insights, and blockers with stakeholders, including executive leadership, to ensure alignment, transparency, and support for the app experience roadmap.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends – Keep up with best practices in UX, personalization, and fintech to ensure Greenlight’s mobile app experience remains best-in-class.

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • 7+ years of product management experience with a focus on consumer-oriented products
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and customer journey mapping 
  • Highly technical, with deep experience and track record of success in building and growing products
  • Highly collaborative and capable of managing large, complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong executive presence with solid presentation skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally to align stakeholders on the goals and behaviors required for success
  • Experience working in regulated industries that requires coordination across functional areas including legal and compliance
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or engineering a plus

Our stance on salaries:

Greenlight provides a competitive compensation package with a market-based approach to pay and will vary depending on your location, experience and skill set. The total compensation package for this position will also include a discretionary performance bonus, equity rewards, medical benefits, 401K match, and more. Greenlight conducts continuous compensation evaluations across departments and geographies to ensure we are keeping our pay current and competitive.


The estimated base pay range for this position in (NY, CA, WA): $150,000- 215,000

The estimated base pay range for this position in (CO): $150,000- 180,000
