First launch was back in 2009. So with over 15 years in the payments industry, we’ve got a story to tell.
Dojo is built to soothe customer and consumer pain points across the world for over 140,000 customers.
And today, there’s over 1000 of us in multiple locations across the UK, Ireland, Spain, and Italy.
Our mission is to empower businesses to thrive in the experience economy by creating the tools and tech that turn transactions into meaningful relationships.
We do that through sophisticated EPOS payments integrations, fast transactions, hospitality bookings, and a strong consumer restaurant app.
Staff Product Manager – International Expansion The Role
Dojo is expanding beyond the UK. As our Staff Product Manager for International Expansion, you will own the product strategy, discovery, and go-to-market execution for launching Dojo’s payments products in new international markets. This is a mission-critical, zero-to-one role at the heart of our next phase of growth. You will define where we go, how we go, and what it takes to win.
This is not a role for generalists or first-timers. You must bring deep experience in navigating regulatory complexity, localising financial products, and building from scratch under pressure. You will partner with Engineering, Design, Legal, Ops, and GTM leaders to ship compliant, scalable products into entirely new markets with pace and precision.
You will be joining at a pivotal moment. Our UK product has strong momentum and a proven model. The focus now is scaling that success internationally. This role is central to that next chapter. We need someone who has done this before and is ready to lead again with clarity, speed, and conviction.
What You'll Do
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for international growth across both seeded and emerging markets
- Collaborate closely with Country Managers to align product plans with local insights, regulatory conditions, and commercial strategy
- Lead discovery to understand customer needs, compliance requirements, and operational constraints across geographies
- Drive localisation and market adaptation without compromising on quality or long-term scalability
- Act as the single point of accountability for international market performance from a product perspective
- Prioritise trade-offs across countries, capabilities, and investment to maximise speed and impact
- Influence platform and infrastructure teams to ensure market needs are reflected in core systems
- Align executives and cross-functional leads around clear sequencing, plans, and outcomes
What Success Looks Like
- Growth in adoption, revenue, and retention across recently launched international markets
- A new market launched with strong early traction and signs of product-market fit
- Clear frameworks for market readiness and repeatable expansion processes
- High trust and collaboration with Country Managers, leading to joint wins
- Strong internal alignment on market prioritisation, capability gaps, and investment decisions
- Efficient localisation that supports scale and regulatory compliance across markets
What You'll Bring
- 5 or more years of product management experience with at least two international product launches or market growth cycles
- Proven success scaling products in regulated markets such as payments, fintech, or SaaS
- Strong experience working across functions including Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Ops
- Deep commercial and customer instincts, with an ability to balance local nuance with platform thinking
- Credibility and presence to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate with Country Managers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with clarity in ambiguity
- A delivery mindset with high standards and a sharp focus on outcomes

Dojo home and away
We believe our best work happens when we collaborate in-person. These “together days” foster communication, drive innovation and spark our brightest ideas.
That's why we have an office-first culture. This means working from the office 4+ days per week.
With offices across Europe, we know a thing or two about staying dynamic. Need deep focus? Head to a quiet zone. Big ideas? Collaboration spaces have you covered. Just here for a catch-up? Our social hubs make it easy. Do work that counts, in spaces made for you.
Question: what’s curious, relentless, and customer obsessed?
If you’re keen to know the answer, you’re a third of the way to meeting our Dojo values.
If the following speak to you, let’s talk:
- You’re curious. You have a real desire to learn and create.
- You’re relentless. You keep going even when it’s easier not to.
- You’re customer-obsessed. You know how important customers are to what you do.
