In this role, you will be the founding designer of a small team, designing and launching a new product offering on Coinbase.
What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):
- End to end ownership of design for a new Coinbase product offering
- Design of MVP and future vision concepts including payments, payroll, invoices etc.
- Collaboration across Coinbase teams to launch supporting features - onboarding, multi-user, payment rails, tax, settings etc.
- Talking to customers to generate insights and influence strategic decision-making
What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):
- 7+ years of Product Design experience
- Exemplary product thinking abilities, solutions oriented, and capable of working autonomously
- Proven track record of working within a product team to ship successful products to users
- Sharp attention to detail and mastery over your craft: visual design, interaction design, and prototyping
- Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management experience
- Thrives in fast-paced (sometimes ambiguous) environment
- Fluency in Figma and prototyping tools
- Low ego, loves to collaborate, and open minded
- Interest in crypto and/or financial products
Nice to Have:
- Experience in fintech (B2B preferred but consumer also ok)
- Experience with building on sophisticated product platforms with extensive cross-team collaboration
- 0 to 1 experience with new product launches - at startup or internal venture bet

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also include target bonus + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).
Pay Range:
$207,485—$244,100 USD
