Responsible for receiving, reviewing, and accurately maintaining all nursing schedules. Ensures the staffing needs for nursing are adequate for the patient acuity and the patient census.

IF ASSIGNED TO NURSING FLOAT POOL:
Accepts and reviews schedules of all Kaweah Health nursing units to assure they are submitted on or before the due date (two weeks before the schedule starts) and have the manager or designee's approval. Coordinates daily staffing needs for each nursing unit to insure adequate, safe staffing. Receives all nursing personnel sick calls. Coordinates and adjusts staff schedules accordingly. Contacts staff in float pool as needed. Handles requests for time off and changes in days scheduled after employee time schedules are posted. All requests and changes must be approved by unit management. Collects and calculates 24 hour staffing data, and reports Nursing Care Hours. Prepares statistical reports for comparison. Inputs new and revised employee information into the database for communication purposes. Formulates and completes monthly float personnel time schedules two weeks prior to posting deadline. Attends various meetings.
IF ASSIGNED TO HOME HEALTH:
Coordinates daily staffing needs for the nursing unit to insure adequate, safe staffing. Formulates 6-week nursing time schedule. Effectively utilizes the Home Health software scheduling system. Receives all nursing personnel sick calls. Coordinates and adjusts staff schedules accordingly. Handles requests for time off and changes in days scheduled after employee time schedules are posted. All requests and changes must be approved by management. Inputs nursing visit information into productivity worksheets in collaboration with nurse manager. Maintains med card files. Attends various meetings.
IF ASSIGNED TO INTEGRATED FITNESS:
Coordinates daily staffing and contractor scheduling to insure adequate staffing. Receives all contractor and integrated fitness staff sick calls. Coordinates and adjusts staff/contractor staff schedules to cover member classes and individual sessions. Handles request for time off and changes in days schedule. Works with area manager/supervisor to assure adequate coverage on a daily basis. Manages and coordinates all member’s classes and individual sessions. Prepares weekly/monthly statistical reports, including contractor payroll. Inputs and tracks member accounts for billing and collections. Coordinates efficient and accurate processing of new membership. Assists with member and staff/contractor communication efforts. Acts as the department liaison working with the marketing department on membership promotions and marketing needs.
