We’re seeking a motivated and skilled Staff Engineer (Technical Lead) - Data Platform Team to join our growing team. As a Staff Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines that unify and organize operational data from multiple products. By doing so, you’ll empower our customers’ businesses with insights for analytics and machine learning.

Key Responsibilities and Activities:
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable near-real-time data pipelines for integrating product data into the data warehouse.
- Architect data solutions that optimize performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Drive peer code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior engineers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data architecture with business needs.
- Continuously improve data processes and automation, ensuring system efficiency and quality.
Knowledge and Skills
- Data Engineering: 7+ years of experience in data engineering, designing, and managing ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Cloud Data Platforms: Expertise in cloud data platforms like AWS Redshift, BigQuery, or Snowflake.
- Programming: Python, Advanced SQL, Matillion, dbt, AWS (DMS, S3, Airflow, Kinesis, DocumentDB, CloudWatch, Kubernetes, Glue), BI tools.
- Architecture: Proven experience in building scalable data solutions, data modeling, and performance tuning.
- Mentorship: Experience leading teams and mentoring junior engineers.
- Version Control & CI/CD: Proficient with version control, building CI/CD pipelines for data infrastructure, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Data Warehousing: Solid understanding of data warehousing best practices, design, and implementation in a multi-tenant environment.
