Staff Engineer, Test Engineering - Product Development
The Energy Conversion Solution (ECS) team is looking for a highly skilled Staff Test Engineer who will be responsible for designing and developing high performance test solutions on Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
He/She is responsible for silicon verification, characterization, qualification, and manufacturing of Power/Mixed Signal products.
Responsibilities:
- Work with design engineers in defining/developing Test methodologies, Test plans, Final test coverage and Wafer probe coverage for New Product parts.
- Evaluate new test platforms, Install and integrate new ATE platform with world-wide manufacturing systems.
- Design and develop cost effective test HW/SW solutions for characterization, qualification, wafer probe and final test.
- Proactively involved on Design reviews, decide on test strategy, techniques, and platforms to be used for New Product development
- Manage and maintain projects schedules that align with product introduction and release dates.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (master’s degree is a plus) in Electronics or Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of experience involving:
- Analyzing and debugging analog and digital circuits.
- Designing hardware and software solutions for Automated Test Equipment that minimize test cost and maximize test performance
- HW development using schematic and layout tools such as Orcad, Cadence ALLEGRO.
- Performing statistical data analysis using Excel or other data tools.
- Solid background on electronics, circuit analysis and understanding of Gate Drivers, Silicon Carbide and Power products.
- Experience with NI STS, Microflex and ETS-364 platforms preferred.
- Demonstrated performance with leading-edge high-complexity mixed-signal Power products.
- Experience with high-voltage, high-current devices and integrated drivers.
