The ADEF Team is hiring a Product Engineer who evaluates the reliability of materials, properties, and techniques used in production; plans, designs, and develops electronic parts, components, integrated circuitry, mechanical systems, equipment, and packaging.

The key responsibilities of a Product Engineer are as follows:

  • Evaluate and analyze typical performance characteristics across specified operating ranges.
  • Performs product characterization using canned programs with the supervision of a mentor/coach.
  • Assists in root cause analysis for sustaining activities.
  • Collaborate with the reliability engineering team for AECQ-100 or Low Earth Orbit qualifications.
  • Performs GR&R and proposes test limits using existing software tools.
  • Bench-to-tester correlation for final test parameters.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering or related fields
  • Strong background in electronics, IC bench testing, and evaluation.
  • Knowledge of development tools and programming languages such as Cadence, LabView, Python, MATLAB, etc.
  • Detailed understanding of general test techniques for analog and mixed-signal devices.
  • Experience in automation of high-speed and high-performance lab test equipment.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 2 years related and progressive experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electronics or any related field of study
  • Ability to lead technical discussions and learning sessions.
  • Awareness of ADEF BU markets and its customers.
  • Can provide coaching for emerging engineers.
  • Participate in own career development planning.
