Job Description
The Global People Data Scientist focuses on developing and implementing cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies to solve complex problems in Human Resources space, improve processes, and drive advancements in various Human Resources AI applications. This role is focused on innovation and bringing new approaches and technologies to ServiceNow's Global People Team.

  • Explore and develop advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to create innovative solutions.
  • In collaboration with Global People product teams, identify opportunities where AI-driven innovation could solve a business problem
  • Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts to demonstrate the potential of new AI technologies and applications.
  • Research new AI methodologies, experiment with novel algorithms, and deploy AI systems to address business challenges and opportunities and stay up-to-date with the latest AI research papers, trends, and industry advancements.
  • Optimize existing AI models for performance, scalability, and efficiency, ensuring they meet the required accuracy and reliability standards.
  • Utilize techniques such as hyperparameter tuning, cross-validation, and ensemble methods to improve model outcomes.
  • Collect, preprocess, and analyze large and complex datasets from various sources to fuel AI models.
  • Implement data augmentation, feature engineering, and data cleaning techniques to ensure high-quality input for model training.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deploy AI models into production environments.
  • Present research findings, model performance, and innovation ideas to stakeholders and executive teams in a clear and persuasive manner.


Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:

  • Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years in relevant machine learning, AI research, or related fields, with a proven track record of innovative projects and publications.
  • Expertise in AI and machine learning frameworks programming languages (e.g., Python, R), and tools for model development and deployment.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a deep understanding of mathematical and statistical principles applied to AI.
  • Excellent communication skills for articulating complex information and presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Preferred: Experience working in the Human Resources space
  • Preferred: Contributions to peer-reviewed journals or conferences in the field of AI.
