Join the NVIDIA Client Platform Engineering team and help empower engineers throughout the world developing state of the art products in AI, Automotive, VR, Gaming, Deep Learning, and High Performance Computing! The successful Engineer will work in NVIDIA IT to lead initiatives focused on the client platform with an emphasis on our Windows fleet. You will apply knowledge of software engineering and DevOps to craft a world-class service for all NVIDIA. We're looking for somebody who thrives on innovation and coming up with new ways of doing things to transform the user experience.

What you will be doing:

  • Work with a team of dedicated engineers building NVIDIA's Windows client platform and related services.

  • Assist in designing the client platform strategy.

  • Regularly interact with business units across NVIDIA and manage end user expectations.

  • Cross functional partnership and development with a diverse landscape of teams.

  • Use good software engineering practices that translate to measuring developer productivity.

  • Support advanced issues on tickets that arise in your field.

  • Recommend changes to policies and establish procedures that affect immediate organization.

What we need to see:

  • BSEE, BSCS or equivalent degree (or equivalent experience).

  • 6+ years development experience directly in managing corporate devices at scale.

  • Heavy experience with CPE dev tools like chocolatey, chef, powershell, and/or osquery.

  • Deep understanding of corporate engineering and how these challenges differentiate from consumer-facing engineering challenges.

  • Good track record of developing, driving and delivering software products.

  • Deep knowledge of Windows operating system.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Real passion for being obsessed with the end-user experience.

  • Product development and product management experience.

  • Strong software optimization and debugging knowledge.

  • Mac and Linux CPE experience is a plus.

The base salary range is 164,000 USD - 310,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
