본 Engineering팀은 대만 쿠팡 Taiwan Coupang의 엔드투엔드 코어 서비스를 담당합니다. 구성 인원 수는 작지만, �무 범위는 넓습니다. 현재 이 하나의 팀의 담당 도메인은 여러 개�니다. 이 포지�은 Staff Engineer이자 �크 리드 및 아키�트로서 코어 시스�이 더 유연하게 글로벌 비즈니스를 지원하고 다양한 지역에서 엔지니링 작�이 보다 효율적으로 이뤄질 수 있도록 여러 도메인 엔지니어링 팀과 협력하여 시스�에 대한 오너십을 설정하고, 관련 툴을 구축하며, 시스�을 처리하고 재플랫폼(re-platform)합니다.

[Responsibilities]

This Engineering team owns end-to-end Taiwan Coupang core services. We started the team with a small group but the scope is large. This single team owns several domains now. As staff engineer, as a tech lead and architect, you will be working with many domain engineering teams to build the ownership on systems, build the tools, process and re-platform the systems to make core systems to be more flexible to support global business and engineering work to be more efficient in different regions.

As a Senior engineer, you will need to identify the underlying risks in our system and establish strategy and roadmap for these focus areas and lead the execution with talented engineers to achieve the milestones. It will include resilience improvement, building necessary tools, monitoring and better testing environments for engineering efficiency.


[Basic Qualifications]

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or electrical/electronic engineering, mathematics or equivalent
  • 7+ years of solid work with fundamental algorithms, system design, and large distributed systems
  • 5+ years of coding experience in Java or a similar language
  • Hands-on experience in building large scale real-time service
  • Demonstrated experience in creating a vision, influencing cross-functionally and driving a technology organization to meet ambitious goals
  • Strong delivering software products competency in an environment that rapidly changing requirements with appropriate trade-off
  • Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working closely with global distributed teams


[Preferred Qualifications]

  • Experience setting the culture of a team and ensuring code quality across a team
  • Understanding of Operational Excellence and what it takes to run and monitor highly available systems
  • Experience working with AWS technologies such as S3, Kafka, EMR, and others
  • A desire to grow those around you both technically and professionally
  • Ability to challenge, professionally and respectfully, the existing norms to improve overall systems and processes.
  • Ability to work in multicultural, cross functional team
