As a Staff Accountant, you will play a vital role in strengthening the efficiency and impact of our Accounting team. Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, you will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate expense classification, provide financial analysis that supports strategic decision-making, and help scale accounting operations by identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.

What You’ll Do

  • Accurately record, classify, and reconcile financial transactions, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies. 
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations. 
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including data entry, vendor payments, and customer invoicing. 
  • Help optimize and scale accounting operations by identifying and implementing process improvements and automation opportunities. 
  • Maintain and improve internal controls to enhance financial accuracy and compliance. 
  • Assist with ad hoc financial projects and initiatives as needed.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. 
  • 1-2 years of accounting experience in a professional setting. 
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and a proactive team player with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. 
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, lean team environment with a focus on efficiency and high-quality output.
