Job Description
- Complete monthly, quarterly and yearly tasks in accordance with the operating indicators defined in the department and the organization
- Coordinate with the agencies and financial departments the recording accounting transactions necessary to report the financial statements in HFM
- Being the main contact with the agencies solving ad-hoc questions that require investigation. Propose solutions and escalate your queries accordingly
- Support the process of internal, FMC and external audits, maintaining controls of the complete and correct operating procedures, as well as providing the requested information
- Prepare and analyze balance sheet account reconciliations. Follow up open items and coordinate the necessary adjustments in accounting that there are no differences or open items without proper justification
- Prepare and/or review accounting entries and ensure they are properly documented
- Escalate issues and deviations from the standard process to management
- Identify opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement of processes related to the department to establish new strategies and apply the best practices
Qualifications
- Technical Degree or Bachelor in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance (50% or above)
- Less than 1 year of experience in similar positions in SSC (desirable).
- Intermediate English (oral and written skills)
