Position Summary
Manage 9 team members in delivering payroll services for the subsidiaries and is expected to meet their HR’s expectations and Service Level Agreement.
Role and Responsibilities
- To lead and direct the time & attendance and payroll service.
- To manage the payroll team to ensure the shared service delivers payroll services that meet customer expectations and service level agreements.
- To manage the payroll team to carry out the day-to-day processes for the provision of an effective, timely, and accurate payroll service for the subsidiaries in accordance with the appropriate HR policies, service standards, and performance requirements.
- To oversee the training and development of the payroll team to promote knowledge transfer, develop skills, and provide stable resilience for the ongoing running and expansion of the payroll service.
- To ensure that all payroll controls, payroll compliance, and all audit regulatory requirements are met.
- Implementing changes as necessary for statutory updates and overseeing any projects to improve efficiency.
- To manage the end-of-year statutory returns as required by the subsidiaries supported.
- To manage ongoing maintenance and development of the payroll system.

Skills and Qualifications
- Proven payroll experience in the Shared Service Center (SSC).
- Strong understanding and relevant experience in HRIS and Payroll system.
- Experience in working on and managing multiple payrolls, working towards multiple deadlines.
- Management and overseeing of a payroll team.
- Hands-on, willing to step in to process payroll if needed.
- Possess good knowledge and experience in SEA & Oceania regulatory requirements.
- Aptitude for using and developing IT to better support and operate the payroll function.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders including subsidiaries’ HR, IT, and other relevant teams.
- Effective partnership working skills including the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
- Excellent Problem solving and investigative skills.
