Objectives of the Role:
- Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
- Monitoring and maintaining dev, staging and production SaaS environments
- Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers
- Working on ways to automate and improve development, testing and release processes with CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
- Work with customer success team to identifying technical problems on the field and developing software updates and ‘fixes’
- Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
- BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
- 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
- Good knowledge of Bash and Python
- Working knowledge of databases and microservice architectures
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
- Working knowledge of performance troubleshooting
- Problem-solving attitude
- Collaborative team spirit
- Experience with software engineering, customer experience and civil engineering
- Experience developing engineering applications for a large corporation is a plus
- Working knowledge of Elasticsearch is a plus
- Working knowledge Flink/Spark/Ignite/Redis is a plus
