Job Summary & Responsibilities
Newly created role as Head of Digital Product Management! We are seeking a seasoned Product and Technology leader at the Managing Director/Sr. VP Level, to lead the leaders of the Digital Product teams.
You will be responsible for shaping, overseeing, and driving the product delivery strategy and value-based outcomes -encompassing people, processes, and systems-while developing a team of high performing digital product talents.
Your day-to-day efforts will focus on execution of the product vision and roadmap, constructing, growing, and operating a high performing team, defining and measuring product delivery processes, obtaining feedback from clients and accountholders, observing customer and system metrics, and ensuring the agile delivery of both internal and external solutions through a continuous discovery and delivery process. This will be done collaboratively with strategic product management leaders, technology leaders, product marketing and the leaders of other departments.
The Managing Director of Digital Product Management will be the head of the Digital Product Management department will report to the Chief Technology Officer.
Through the successful execution of these responsibilities, the Digital Product leader will make significant contributions to the overall achievements of our company's strategies:

  • Lead a team of digital product managers and product owners, and drive the maturity of product management and Agile practices in the organization
  • Drive execution of product vision and roadmap with a key focus on customer experience, simplification, efficiency, and differentiating innovation
  • Define outcomes and success metrics that align with company and business goals
  • Contribute to setting companywide vision and strategy
  • Create and execute team level strategies that define the state of our products and technology
  • Recruit, onboard, develop, and inspire product leaders, product managers, and product owners
  • Constantly measure and deliver outcomes while driving a continuous improvement expectation
  • Partner with product strategy and technology leaders to coach teams in continuous discovery and continuous delivery
  • Drive teams toward continuous delivery and ability to release incremental value frequently via test first, automation, and other DevOps disciplines
  • Use user/customer centric discovery and experimentation to innovate and iterate towards the ultimate solution
  • Set standards and measure the quality, efficiency, and time to market of product delivery processes
  • Actively manage costs and finances for scope of responsibility
  • Other duties as assigned


Preferred Qualifications
Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Technology, or related field;
  • 20+ years of experience: background in Health & Benefits, Consumer Directed Benefits, Benefit Administration, and/or Fintech, experience in human-centered design, design thinking, and agile product management methodologies, experience in cloud-native products, experience in retirement services is a plus
  • 10+ years of leadership experience
  • Leadership skills to gain credibility, garner respect, and guide the creation of self-organizing teams


Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience ideating and delivering products in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels both within and outside of the organization
  • Strategic, innovative, and creative thinker with a solid Fintech foundation
  • Expert in Agile practices such as iterative development, incremental delivery, backlog management, burn down metrics, velocity and task definition
  • Solid analytical skills, creative problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of technical concepts and architectural principles to drive scalable solutions


Other Requirements:

  • Infrequent travel (10%)
    • Ability to provide personal transportation from time to time
  • Ability to work overtime
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer


Compensation & Benefits
$250,000 - $275,000 per year
