JOB OVERVIEW

The Vertical Marketing Lead advocates and positions our brand (brand champion) to develop and execute the marketing strategy for targeted market segments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • A key component of this role is to craft vertical segment positioning, differentiated stories, value proposition and key messages to convey the company’s unique solutions to the marketplace.
  • Create and implement marketing plans targeting specific industries, tailoring approaches to match industry needs and trends.
  • Conduct in-depth research to understand industry trends, pain points, and opportunities, leveraging this knowledge to inform marketing strategies.
  • Work closely with sales, product development, and other marketing teams to ensure alignment and coherence in messaging and strategy across various channels.
  • Provide the sales team with tools, insights gained from Market research, campaign KPIs/metrics, and any stakeholder feedback that may be received via lead forms, industry events, and other interactions, and collateral necessary to engage effectively with industry prospects.
  • Creates and executes top-notch integrated lead generation programs which includes email campaigns, social media campaigns, webinars, or a variety of Marketing tactics utilized to generate sales leads. Part of the role is to construct and identify lead generation programs and approaches that will work for specific targeted segments.to engage and attract targeted audiences
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

  • No direct people management responsibilities, however, manages the following:
    • Product positioning and value proposition tailoring for targeted segments
    • Vertical marketing strategies and lead-generation campaigns
    • Market research activities
    • Development of sales tools, collateral and product and industry content
    • Sales enablement programs and inbound marketing
    • Integrated lead generation and awareness activities
    • Customer feedback loop and case studies
    • Repeatable and measurable GTM processes
    • Analysis of performance metrics and results

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related degree.
  • Minimum four (4) years of relevant marketing experience.
  • Vertical, segment, and/or product marketing experience is a plus.
  • Business-to-business marketing and lead generation marketing experience.
  • Experience within similar or relevant B2B industries preferred
  • Experience with market analysis, product launch and the development of integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com (Sales and Marketing Cloud), Pardot, or similar platforms
  • Strong copywriting skills preferred
  • Adobe suite design skills as an added bonus

JOB SPECIFICATIONS, PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work Environment:  This position is in either Schaumburg, IL or Alpharetta, GA and operates in a professional office environment.

Positions Type/Standard Schedule:  This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.

Travel:  Limited Travel

Physical Demands:  Speak, hear, and see, and to use hand and fingers for computer keyboard and phone. Sit or stand for extended periods of time. Reach above head to pull paper attachments.

Pay Range:

$77,400-$108,400

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is eligible to participate in the annual incentive plan which is based on company performance and individual performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience, education, certifications, skill level and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
