The Senior UX Designer is responsible for understanding the customer journey, identifying pain points, and designing intuitive digital solutions to address them. This role works closely with the product manager, development team, and other groups to iteratively design and deliver a differentiating end-to-end user experience.
 

The Senior UX Designer is engaged throughout the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to delivery, as well as in the continuous improvement of the product. This position reports to the UX Design Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the customer’s journey and identify pain points to create intuitive solutions that solve complex problems

  • Contribute during discovery, prototyping, design, delivery, and the continuous improvement of the product

  • Design holistic experiences with functional interactions and visuals

  • Communicate a compelling reason behind every design decision and collaborate with peers

  • Partner with User Experience Researcher and champion customer-centric solutions

  • Assist in establishing, documenting, and socializing best practices, governance, and processes for content creation.

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in UX design and make recommendations for continuous improvement

  • Work closely with user researcher, product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that user experience design is integrated into product development processes

  • Lead and mentor UX designers to ensure the creation and implementation of customized digital experiences for users

Qualifications:

  • Ability to design for enterprise products, applying elegant solutions to complex scenarios backed by examples that you are ready to share

  • Proficient in using design and prototyping tools such as Figma to create intuitive solutions that solve complex problems

  • Ability to work in an Agile software development environment

  • Versed in user research and testing methodologies, with the ability to interpret results into actionable analysis

  • Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills across the organization and product-wide architectures

  • Ability to communicate user experience data, design proposals, and product specifications, and negotiate options

  • Ability to effectively influence at the highest levels of the company

  • Be a master of the entire UX design process including; product definition, research, analysis, design, and validation

  • Understanding of user testing methodology and analytics

Education & Years of Experience:

  • 6+ years related work experience

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Factors or related degree

  • Experience working with and contributing to a design system

We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $ 72,600 -- $ 197,100 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. During the hiring process, your recruiter can provide more information about the specific salary range for the job location. 

CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
