Job Title: Senior Telecom Project Manager
Job Summary:
The Senior Telecom Project Manager is responsible for planning, budgeting, overseeing, and documenting all aspects of assigned telecommunications projects. This role involves working closely with upper management, technical personnel, and third-party vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals.
- Budget Management: Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects stay within approved limits.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle and manage their expectations.
- Technical Oversight: Oversee the deployment of network systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
- Documentation: Assist in creating splice plans, test plans, system as-builts, and other project documentation.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project activities are performed correctly by contractors and vendors.
- Risk Management: Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks to ensure smooth project execution.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate the efforts of engineers, technicians, vendors, and contractors involved in the project.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to telecommunications and real estate development.
- Reporting: Regularly report on project status and escalate issues to management as needed.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Seven or more years of experience in project management in the IT or telecommunications sector.
- Technical Skills: Solid technical background, including knowledge of network infrastructure devices like routers, switches, access points, and firewalls.
- Project Management Skills: Proficiency in project planning, budget management, stakeholder management, and risk management.
- Certifications: Preferred certifications include PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, and RCDD.
- Deployment of Systems: Experience with deploying and testing telecom systems.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with project management software like Jira, Excel, Microsoft Project, Trello, and Asana.
- Local Area Networks (LANs): Understanding of LANs and wide area networks (WANs).
- Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of regulatory compliance related to telecommunications and real estate development.
- Technical Experience: Experience in the telecommunications (fiber optic) industry.
- Office on site every day in FT Lauderdale (8-5) M-F with some flexibility
