Position Summary
As a Senior Technical Product Manager at Kinesso, you will play a pivotal role in the development and management of a multi-modal AI application development and marketplace platform. You will also contribute to large-scale Product Design initiatives that will impact Interact, a comprehensive marketing platform developed by Interpublic Group (IPG). This platform is integral to real-time collaboration on personalized marketing campaigns, connecting agencies and clients across various touchpoints throughout the customer journey.
Your role will combine deep technical expertise with user-centric product development. You will be an essential part of the Innovation Organization working alongside a global, cross-functional team to deliver state-of-the-art AI-powered solutions for IPG’s core AI infrastructure and go-to-market offerings. As part of this highly collaborative environment, you will need to navigate complex internal and external stakeholder relationships, manage multiple product lines, and ensure that deliverables are met on time and within scope.
As a seasoned Technical Product Manager, you bring clarity where there is ambiguity and can scope out large, complex solutions into manageable deliverables. You will work closely with engineers, data scientists, and UX/UI designers as part of the team with technical stakeholders to create solutions that address the user needs.
Key Responsibilities
AI Capability Management:
- Manage the development and ongoing improvements of Interact’s co-pilot, ensuring it delivers on its user value while maintaining a seamless user experience.
- Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle for multi-modals AI-powered tools and capabilities, focusing on user needs, technical feasibility, and alignment with broader organizational goals.
- Partner closely with engineers, data scientists, UX/UI designers, and third-party technology partners to ensure other product teams can seamlessly integrate AI functionalities within their applications
- Maintain close relationships with AI technology partners to co-develop and to evolve joint roadmaps and capabilities.
- Collaborate with leadership, develop and manage product roadmaps, prioritize features, and deliver high-quality products that meet both technical and business requirements.
- Regularly assess latest technology capabilities in a fast-paced environment to ensure the group is operating at the forefront and ahead of what’s possible.
Large-Scale Product Design Projects:
- Contribute to large-scale initiatives impacting the Interact platform, which serves as the core technology for Interpublic’s marketing campaigns.
- Partner with Product Design teams to ensure that AI technologies are integrated seamlessly within the broader product experience, driving value for users across multiple industries and marketing use cases.
- Contribute to setting product vision and strategy for user-centric, AI-driven features across the platform, considering the full customer journey and marketing ecosystem.
Requirements & Scoping
- Translate ambiguous, high-level business needs into detailed technical specifications and user stories for the development team
- Collaborate with engineers to define clear milestones and realistic plans for delivering solutions that align with product goals
- Create supporting documentation such as workflow diagrams, API documentation, and user guides.
- Identify potential risks and edge cases, ensuring they are factored into plans and communicated with leadership.
- Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Work alongside client and leadership stakeholders, Product Managers, R&D teams, Engineers, to understand requirements, manage trade-offs, and deliver solutions that balance speed and scalability.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across client, leadership, engineering, design, marketing, and partner technology provider teams to align on product vision and execution.
- Act as the primary point of contact for partner product teams regarding AI-powered solutions and ensure alignment on goals, KPIs, and timelines. Provide necessary training and support.
Process & Communication Management:
- Define and manage communication processes across multiple teams to ensure clear, effective, and timely delivery of product milestones.
- Own the planning, prioritization, and delivery, ensuring that cross-functional teams stay on track.
- Provide regular status updates to senior leadership, clearly communicating progress, challenges, and key decisions.
- Proactively identifying and communicating challenges before they arise with clear solution plan options.
- Maintain clear, transparent communication with stakeholders across the organization, ensuring alignment on product goals, challenges, and milestones.
Required Experience
- Technical Expertise: Strong technical background with a deep understanding of API build and management, system design, and system integrations. Experience with generative AI, particularly in the context of integrating generative AI into existing technology.
- AI Product Management Experience: Demonstrable experience managing AI-powered products from inception to launch, with a clear understanding of how to build and optimize AI-driven solutions that scale.
- User-Centric Approach: Proven ability to approach products from a user experience perspective, understanding the importance of usability, personalization, and continuous improvement. You should be able to think strategically about how to improve the user experience while leveraging AI technologies.
- Global Team Experience: Ability to work in a global, distributed team with multiple time zones, ensuring effective communication and timely execution of product milestones.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to manage team communication and collaboration horizontally across discipline groups as well as vertically to management and junior team members.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Experience managing the full product lifecycle from ideation and discovery through delivery and post-launch optimization, particularly in an agile environment.
- Curiosity & Proactiveness: A strong passion for technology, innovation, and operating at the cutting edge of what’s possible. Maintaining a proactive attitude toward problem-solving and continuous learning. You should demonstrate a natural curiosity to explore new AI applications and their potential impact on the business.
- Marketing Platform Knowledge: Familiarity with marketing technology ecosystems, customer journey optimization, and personalized campaign development will be a strong plus.
- Tool Familiarity: Asana, Jira, Confluence, Google Cloud Environment, Sharepoint/Office suite.
Desired Experience
- 5+ years of experience in technical product management, systems analysis, or engineering role with proven robust project management execution.
- Proven track record of managing APIs and services, and/or AI-powered solutions, preferably in a SaaS or enterprise technology setting.
- Experience working in agile environments, creating detailed requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
