This is a remote position, but the ideal candidate will be located within a 3 hour radius of Springfield, IL for occasional onsite travel.


Key Responsibilities

Executive Recruitment

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for executive-level positions, partnering with leadership to define role requirements and sourcing strategies.
  • Identify, engage, and nurture relationships with high-caliber executive candidates, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Lead executive search efforts, building talent pipelines for critical leadership roles.
  • Collaborate with external executive search firms as necessary to deliver timely and successful outcomes.

Project and Initiative Leadership

  • Lead and manage strategic talent acquisition projects and initiatives, such as employer branding, workforce planning, and process improvement.
  • Drive the implementation of innovative sourcing and hiring solutions to meet evolving business needs.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of TA initiatives.

Community Sourcing and Talent Sourcing Leadership

  • Develop and execute a community sourcing strategy to build relationships with local organizations, universities, and professional groups.
  • Lead efforts to expand talent pools, particularly for underrepresented groups, to promote diversity and inclusion.
  • Design and implement innovative sourcing strategies, utilizing social media, networking events, and referral programs.
  • Monitor and analyze sourcing effectiveness to optimize outreach efforts.

 Support for Director of Talent Acquisition

  • Provide strategic and operational support to the Director of TA, including market insights, hiring trend analysis, and project updates.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the Director and other senior leaders, offering recommendations to enhance recruitment practices.

Training and Development

  • Design and deliver training programs for TA team members on best practices, tools, and emerging trends in recruitment.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to junior recruiters, fostering professional growth and development.
  • Lead workshops for hiring managers to improve interview techniques and ensure alignment with organizational hiring goals.


Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). Senior level recruitment experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on executive recruitment and strategic hiring initiatives.
  • Proven experience leading talent acquisition projects and initiatives with measurable success.
  • Strong expertise in community engagement and sourcing strategies to attract diverse talent pools.
  • Professional recruitment industry certification preferred
  • Experience with various social medias like Instagram, FB, Snapchat, handshake, etc.

Skills and Competencies

  • Exceptional executive recruitment skills, including relationship-building, negotiation, and closing high-level candidates.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Expertise in community engagement and leveraging external partnerships to enhance talent pipelines.
  • Proficiency with recruitment platforms, ATS systems, and sourcing tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate at all organizational levels.


Pay Range:

  • $67,300.00 - $105,700.00  

Salary is commensurate to experience, location, etc.
