We are actively seeking a Sr. Support Engineer, SAP. This role is based in India, Hyderabad.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for providing incident, change request and enhancement support to Application Management Services (AMS) customers for SAP Ariba. Experienced consultant with extensive hands-on experience in SAP Ariba for Sourcing & Contracts modules.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Solve complex customer issues using methodical troubleshooting based on expert knowledge of SAP applications functionality and technology
• Work closely with customers daily to understand their needs, support business change and deliver a consistently high-quality customer experience
• Provide remote-based functional support & training for multiple SAP Ariba modules
• Support client customizations, sharing implementation and best practices advice
• Develop application break fixes for critical product defects
• Create scripts to identify, analyze and correct data issues
• Provide hands-on assistance using proprietary tools in a test environment or via remote client connectivity
• Collaborate with team members in a virtual and international team environment to extend field experience to different client situations
• Contribute to the development and management of knowledge-sharing methodologies, diagnostic tools, and creative processes, to improve the client experience
  • Functional knowledge of SAP Ariba Solutions is a mandatory (SLP, Sourcing, Contract Management, P2P, Guided Buying and Ariba Network)
  • Functional knowledge of Integration of SAP Ariba Solutions with ERP is mandatory. This includes Master Data Integration, Transfer of documents, Cross system reporting. Technical knowledge is an added advantage.
  •  Elaboration and support in creating Functional and Technical solution design/ BBP.

Technical Skills

• Must have over 8 years of experience in Ariba modules
• Must have done 1-2 E2E implementation projects in SAP Ariba modules
• SAP Ariba Risk management, SLP and Sourcing module experience
• Sound knowledge and experience in SAP Ariba Sourcing and Contracts modules, including strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract lifecycle management, and procurement processes. Should be able to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Ariba Sourcing and Contracts modules, ensuring system stability and optimal performance. 

Preferred Qualifications

• The best candidates will have extensive knowledge of multiple SAP modules across releases (4.x & ECC) including proficiency with SAP product module/suite business processes, navigation mechanics, configuration requirements, integration with other modules and knowledge of underlying technology
• A consulting background, while not mandatory, would be useful
• Experience with localizations and global implementations would be an advantage

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.

• Fluent English is mandatory, any other international languages is a plus
