This role is part of ADS’s Global Planning Analytics team. Planning Analytics delivers world-class analytics and digital solutions to Ecolab’s global planning. This team provides data-driven insights for demand planning, forecasting, supply planning including inventory management and optimization, S&OP, capacity planning and resource allocation by tracking performance metrics.

We're looking to hire an Analyst (Global Planning) to join our Global Supply Chain Analytics team in Pune, India. In this role, you’ll be responsible for discovering insights and overseeing Planning KPIs in Supply / Demand Planning space thereby influencing planner’s decision-making and business outcomes. You'll also work closely with the analytics engineering and design teams in cocreating planning analytics products and solutions by participating in design reviews and the release process.

What you'll do:

Project Management & Planning KPIs

  • Execute supply chain analytics dashboards / reporting projects aimed to deliver timely insights for Inventory Management, Supply Planning & Demand Planning functions.

  • Work with planners / supply chain managers for gathering project requirements in various process enhancement initiatives and creating data analytics solutions.

  • Partner with data engineering team for curating data and securing steady access to various planning data sources.

  • Ensures data quality and data validation processes for Planning data.

  • Documents the work deliverables to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Design, develop and maintain scalable and reliable dashboards / reports that drive key supply chain planning decisions.

  • Participate in design reviews of visualizations and data products.

Process Improvement

  • Identify underperforming functional areas in Supply Chain and recommend improvements and resolutions to the problems.

  • Works alongside the Design team to ideate product solutioning and helps create prototypes and iterations by leveraging technology platforms like Power BI. Creates interactive and informative dashboards, while ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

  • Lead the functional QA process and governance for all Planning Supply Chain analytics products.

  • Conduct functional, integration, performance, and technical testing.

Functional Knowledge Management

  • Contribute to knowledge management and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations management, information systems, engineering or a related field (advanced degree a plus).

  • 3-6 years of experience as a supply chain analyst or planner or Supply chain consultant

  • Good to have – ASCM CSCP / CPIM certifications.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

  • Entry-level exposure to technical skills in visualization using MS Power BI and familiarity to Python and SQL

  • Good to have exposure in cloud platforms (Azure / AWS) and data management in SQL querying and SAP tables / transactions for process excellence and quality functions

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
