Job Overview:
The Senior Supervisory Principal within Central Supervision will work with a team of fellow analysts to support the Regional Supervisory Principals located in the employee model. The Senior Supervisory Principal will be responsible for completing front-line supervisory tasks on a daily basis and reporting potential sales practice concerns to the Regional Supervisory Principal. Great emphasis will be placed upon completing tasks according to the established Service Level Agreements and at a high level of quality.
Responsibilities:

Review of securities transactions on the electronic trade blotter including but not limited to equities, fixed income, mutual funds, UITs, municipal securities, and 529 transactions.

Review of account-level suitability alerts for brokerage and advisory accounts using LPL’s electronic supervisory tool suite.

Review and approval of account documentation.

Analysis of transaction activity and identification of potential sales practice concerns.

Collaboration with Regional Supervisory Principals and other business partners to escalate and resolve sales practice concerns.

Work within a team environment to identify potential sales practice concerns.

Provide consultative support to clients.
-
Provide awareness across all Supervision departments of any investigations, escalations, or emerging risks involving advisors and OSJs.

Act as a point of contact for questions and minor escalation; help provide guidance and information to help solve minor day-to-day questions and issues; assist with oversight of supervision including, but not limited to, backlog management and QC.

Regularly help lead or provide significant contribution to weekly team meetings. Identify opportunities for and facilitate ad hoc meetings on best practices, new info shares, etc. for team members as needed.

Volunteer for and participate in project opportunities including committees, UAT testing efforts, and/or workload management (backlog assistance and/or backlog management) for peers and other departments as needed.

Support new and/or existing staff through training and mentoring efforts. Provide individual support through direct contact relationship with staff as identified. Assist with professional development.

Requirements:

3+ years of financial services industry experience

Series 7; 9 and 10 (or Series 24, 4 & 53 or must pass series 4 &53 within 120 days of employment (for candidates with S24)); Series 66 (or S63 and S65)

Pay Range:
$71,900.00 - $119,900.00
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
