About the Role
The Strategic Account Manager II owns the overall P&L of the accounts in respective books of business, leading the strategy, planning and execution of growth areas (spot, mini bids, etc.) & account health. Is responsible for maintaining relationship with customer, award management & scorecard accuracy. Strategic Account Managers will own QBRs & MBRs and ensure alignment and visibility at a high level with all other lines of business (Intermodal, PowerLoop, Etc.) to give the customer a singular overview of operations at Uber Freight. Will need to work in close partnership with the account operations teams to streamline processes and manage high level escalations. Owns internal relationships (OSD, pricing, LMB, Etc.) to ensure proper internal execution of strategy.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Responsible for maintaining continuous awareness of customer sentiment towards Uber Freight
- Creates content and owning MBRs & QBRs
- Partners with the Product team to ensure new features built improve workflows and close known process gaps
- Responsible for pricing execution (SFDC tasks, ongoing spot markup iteration)
- Determines support model + service structure to deliver on customer expectations keeping contribution margin in mind (P&L ownership)
- Partners with Sales to own P&L outcomes for assigned accounts
- In partnership with sales, owns the overall long-term account strategy and owns account forecasting across all modes of business
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of logistics experience
- Minimum of 5+ years of account management experience
- Proficiency in analytics
- Proficiency in excel
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong relationship building experience
- RFP strategy experience
- Experience with creating core metrics for customers
