Duties and Responsibilities:

-        Vendor shop visits for qualification based on fabrication capabilities including material, scheduling, inspection and Quality Assurance requirements.

-        Understanding of Supplier Engineering data and Drawings in accordance with the purchase order requirements and applicable codes.

-        Review vendor Surveillance programs including understanding of pressure testing, in-process inspections, final inspections and preliminary/final review of work packages to confirm compliance.

-        Monitors the Supplier's purchasing activity to ensure materials are purchased as scheduled and to ensure the timely delivery of component parts to support fabrication and assembly.

-        Participates with engineering, quality assurance and construction organizations in development of cross-functional and proactive approach to mitigation of supplier performance issues.

-        Troubleshoots problem areas in purchase order execution and coordinates problem resolution or recommends solutions to management.

-        Able to perform Shop visits globally.

-        Maintains appropriate records and prepares reports.

-        Provides activity and status reports to management.

Skills Required:

-        Modular, Field or Jobsite Expediting and or Quality Assurance experience strongly preferred.

-        Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an engineering or related degree and 10+ years of experience.

-        Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage shifting priorities.

-        Strong computer skills to include Excel, and Power Point
