Role Purpose:

The Customer Insights Specialist will support a team that uses data to discover insights about the customer experience at our conferences. This individual will help to impact changes and improvements in Gartner’s world class conference business.

What you will do:

  • Assist in the execution of primary research projects.

  • Manage communications with external executive-level professionals.

  • Ensure project deliverables meet the needs and standards of executive-level stakeholders.

  • Work closely with data analysts, market researchers, and other team members to ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders.


What you will need:

  • Advanced Microsoft Office and Google Suite capabilities a must.

  • Must be detail-oriented and able to operate independently on multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree; a focus in market research, business, statistics, psychology, or similar social science a plus

  • Familiarity with the tasks associated with recruiting for surveys, focus groups and one-on-one interviews would be helpful.

  • Familiarity with primary research tools like Qualtrics or SurveyMonkey a plus.

  • Exposure to research methodologies, survey design, and data collection techniques a plus.

  • Strong communication skills required.

  • Exposure to the B2B research preferred.

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 62,400 USD - 86,940 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates. We also offer market leading benefit programs including generous PTO, a 401k match up to $7,200 per year, the opportunity to purchase company stock at a discount, and more.
