Job Title: Sr. Solution Architect

Locations: Remote, with willingness to travel 40-80% of the time

Reports to: Director, Professional Services

Conga is seeking an experienced Sr. Solution Architect to join our Professional Services organization. This role will be responsible for leading and implementing Quote-to-Cash solutions, including CPQ (configure/price/quote), Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), revenue and rebate management, and other related offerings. The ideal candidate will collaborate with customers, functional managers, and business system analysts to develop scalable, robust solution architectures, including designing prototypes, building proof of concepts, and preparing architecture roadmaps.

You are a seasoned technology expert with a passion for designing best-in-class solutions. You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and can seamlessly bridge technical and functional teams to drive implementation success. Here’s what makes you a great fit:

  • Proven experience in solution design: You have 8-10 years of experience in successful software project implementations related to CPQ, Quote-to-Cash, CLM, or Salesforce. (ERP experience is a plus!)
  • Hands-on technical expertise: You have experience in web, database, and object-oriented software technologies, SDLC methodologies, and Salesforce.com or Force.com.
  • Solution-oriented mindset: You ensure that solutions are scalable, robust, and aligned with both customer needs and internal product roadmaps.
  • Cross-functional leadership: You act as a liaison between technical teams, functional teams, business stakeholders, and system integrators onshore and offshore.
  • Architecture and implementation experience: You have worked on designing, prototyping, developing, configuring, and testing enterprise applications.
  • Proactive mindset: You encourage new ideas for improving organizational structure and customer engagements. You work with management team to identify and push out innovative solutions to the organization.
  • Mentorship and collaboration: You provide technical guidance to developers, review architecture with project teams, and support offshore teams as needed. You conduct knowledge sharing sessions regularly.
  • Customer-centric approach: You understand the importance of aligning solutions with business objectives and ensuring smooth implementations. You know how to build rapport and trust across the entire customer team and can bring people together to build consensus.
  • Strong communication skills: Whether it’s engaging with customers, guiding internal teams, or leading presentations, you have a knack for articulating complex ideas clearly.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.


Here’s what will give you an edge…

  • Prior knowledge of Conga CLM and Conga CPQ – If you’ve worked with these tools before, you’ll be ahead of the curve.
  • Knowledge of Billing and Invoicing – Experience in these areas will help you build even more comprehensive solutions.
  • Consulting experience – Having worked as a Solution Architect in a consulting organization for at least 6 years, you understand how to manage multiple projects and customer expectations effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously – You are comfortable juggling different priorities and ensuring timely execution.
  • Certification: Salesforce Admin or Platform App Builder CPQ or CLM certifications are a plus.

Listed below is the U.S. base salary range for this full-time position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education, or training. In addition to base salary, Conganeers receive a variable incentive pay component, perks such as flexible work options, and a full range of benefits including medical and dental insurance. 

The posted salary ranges are for the expectations outlined in the job description.  We are often open to a wide variety of profiles and sometimes have flexibility within our organizational structure to adjust the role responsibilities up or down should we select a candidate that is less or more experienced than the posted job requirements.  In these occasional cases, we will communicate the revised salary range to the candidate during the selection process.

U.S base salary range:

$158,000$211,305 USD
