Senior Solution Architect – Product DevelopmentOverview:

• We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect to join our Product Development team, with a strong functional foundation in supply chain software (Planning/Execution) and deep knowledge of the relevant industry (Retail/Manufacturing) 

Scope:

• Core responsibilities include architecting, designing and developing solution suite offerings for our customers in the Manufacturing and/or Retail Industry segments, with a focus on business processes, use cases and ease of customer onboarding.

• This role is part of the end-to-end solution engineering team within the Product Development organization. The team is currently comprised of associates across North America, India and EMEA and is expected to grow further.

What you’ll do:

• Lead the implementation of our newly launched products and solutions at first customers in cooperation with Product Management and field teams

• Contribute to the functional design of standardized business use cases utilizing the latest capabilities released by the larger BY Product Development organization

• Support development and execution of functional tests to ensure BY software consistently meets the customer's business objectives

• Create templates and artifacts towards reusability and automation decreasing implementation lifecycle, reducing errors post go-live and efficiently support operations

• Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for user, management, and executive level audiences

• Support the full end-to-end lifecycle from go-to-market activities, sales cycles, customer onboardings to solution operations

• Actively and responsively collaborate with the field teams and customers to drive adoption of our new products and services

• Communicate and/or support the business cases to PMG and PD regarding specific trends for future product functionality and enhancements

• Contribute to documentation and conduct internal training and support larger team enablement

• Provide development teams with details on the business and domain aspects related to solution suite development

• Stay current with industry trends and analyze how those trends can be applied to the solution offerings

• Identifies and mentors next level architects for succession planning within the solution suite domain

What we are looking for:

• At least 3+ years of hands-on experience working with supply chain solutions

• 3+ years domain experience in the supply chain planning industry

• 3+ years of experience in product development

• Understanding of how BY solutions (e.g., Demand, Supply Chain Planning/Enterprise Supply Planning, Fulfillment, S&OP, IO) can be configured to facilitate business processes.

• Demonstrable functional knowledge of native SaaS products and understanding of key concepts like DevOps, CI/CD

• Understanding of relevant supply chain data, correlation with supply chain processes and supply chain software solutions

• Strong business analysis skills, knowledge of supply chain concepts, awareness of tactical planning on overall supply chains.

• Understanding and usage of statistical & machine learning algorithms

• Ability to drive discussions on both functional processes and technical with stakeholders on all levels.

• Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently, effectively and proactively.

• Passionate about working with new technologies and products and have demonstrated the ability to learn quickly, have good interpersonal & communication skills – verbal & written.

• Ready to travel to customer sites based on business needs, and flexible to work with overlapping time zones.

• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., APICS, TOGAF) will be a plus.

• German language skills on top of fluent English will be a plus.
