What You’ll Do:
DeepIntent is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to join our growing Banja Luka, Bosnia OR Belgrade, Serbia team. The Sr. Software Engineer will assist in putting out the most advanced programmatic engine in the current healthcare advertising market. Built upon a modern, state-of-the-art architecture consisting of on-premises deployments of Kubernetes, Hadoop, Kafka and Aerospike, the DeepIntent Engineering team maintains a database of trillions of user interactions with hundreds of terabytes of data generated every month. Our mission is to create the next generation of cutting edge analytics for marketers and you will be a core asset in our pursuit of achieving this milestone.
- Design, develop and maintain our internal developer platform (IDP) that enables self-service for internal teams.
- Assist internal teams in integrating their services and products with the IDP.
- Provide guidance and training to users, ensuring they can effectively utilize the platform.
- Monitor and improve the reliability, performance, and scalability of platform and product services.
- Participate in on-call rotation, addressing incidents and ensuring service availability.
- Work cross-functionally with other teams to understand requirements, identify gaps, and implement solutions.
- Create and maintain clear documentation for platform features, APIs, and best practices.
- Continuously improve software engineering practices
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- Strong programming experience in languages such as Go and Java.
- Experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Helm).
- Updated on tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.
- Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, GCP) and their services.
- Passionate about improving developer productivity and creating robust self-service solutions
- Excellent communication skills and a user-focused mindset.
