The Renewal Manager will be tasked with collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and maintaining strong partner relationships while managing contract renewals. You’ll engage with senior C-level stakeholders, manage contract negotiations, and develop tailored renewal strategies.
In this role, you’ll be a part of the Revenue Operations team, reporting into the VP of Finance, and working closely with both our Sales and Partner Success teams.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate on the target state architecture and the value-driven and iterative roadmap for getting there.
- Identify and communicate architectural risk and develop mitigation strategies.
- Define architecture solutions aligned to target state architecture and collaborate with Product, and Engineering for implementation.
- Facilitate design discussions and drive technical design reviews.
- Participate in AWS Well Architected Reviews and develop solutions to mitigate risks.
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert to engineering.
- Assist with improving architecture practices.
- Work with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) software to ensure that code is stable once deployed.
- Leverage enterprise, portfolio patterns and standards as appropriate.
- Identify and develop enterprise capabilities and look for opportunities to leverage existing enterprise capabilities.
- Assist with governing software development to ensure satisfaction of non-functional requirements.
- Build software prototypes to validate architecture approaches and assess emerging technologies.
- Drive effective communication between cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, operations, and business stakeholders, to ensure alignment and clarity surrounding architecture decisions and future architecture direction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders by consistently demonstrating technical expertise, reliability, and a clear understanding of business goals.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on best practices and difficult technical challenges. Advocate for technical solutions and drive change through influence.
- Convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Manage conflict and maintain productive working relationships.
- Manage Pinecone and OpenAI infrastructure and mentor teams on best practices architecture and implementation.
- Manage SOC2 security and assessments and ensure timely delivery of remediation from on-going quarterly penetration projects. Position may work remotely.
What You’ll Have
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
- 3 years of experience in software engineering in an agile environment
- 3 years of experience with each of the following:
- programming languages Python and Typescript;
- frameworks React/Redux and Django;
- infrastructures Celery, AWS ECS, Terraform, Docker and containerized deployments;
- databases MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Pinecone and Redis
- 1year Generative AI such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or Mistral AI. Experience may be gained concurrently

The salary range for this role is $155,000 to $180,000 depending on the level you’re hired at. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate including but not limited to demonstrated skill set, years & depth of experience, and some role dependent factors that can include certifications and software expertise. We also hope you’ll consider and be open to what else we provide outside of our base compensation.
