Scope:
Analyze solution architecture and make recommendations to optimize performance.
Analyzes and optimizes components to take advantage of project specific databases and
system configurations.
Assist other team members with benchmarking and sizing exercises.
Maintain direct communication between the project manager, project team and other
JDA associates as required.
Provide technical expertise during the project, including performance tuning, DB design,
installation, stress/load testing and interface development work.
Provide technical expertise on development projects as necessary.
Understand technical needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
Our current technical environment:
Software: Java, Springboot, Gradle, GIT, Hibernate, Rest API, OAuth
Application Architecture: Scalable, Resilient, event driven, secure multi-tenant
Microservices architecture.
Cloud Architecture: MS Azure (ARM templates, AKS, HD insight, Application gateway,
Virtue Networks, Event Hub, Azure AD)
Frameworks/Others: Kubernetes, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Spark, NOSQL, RDBMS,
Springboot, Gradle GIT, Ignite.
What you’ll do:
• Write JMeter tests for the identified testcases.
Execute Benchmark, load, stress, endurance, and other non-functional tests. Monitor
application logs to determine system behavior. Address all technical issues; facilitate the
resolution and necessarily follow up with Development and other cross-functional
departments.
• Analyze the CPU Utilization, Memory usage, Network usage, Garbage Collection and DB
Parameters and DB Reports to verify the performance of the applications.
• Generate performance graphs, session reports and other related documentation required
for validation and analysis.
• Publish results and receive appropriate signoff. Prepare detail status reports and
monitoring of all defects and issues.
• Identifying memory leakage, connection issues & Bottleneck problem in the application
What we are looking for:
Expertise in Performance Testing tools using Jmeter
Expertise in Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Workload Design, Test Cases
Design,
Test Environment Setup, Test Data Setup, Defect Management & Configuration
Management
Strong knowledge on SQLSERVER and ORACLE DB
Experience in Git, JIRA, Jenkins, TM4J or any test management tool
Experience in Integration with Blaze meter
Experience in Monitoring on Azure cloud
Experience in Working knowledge of Linux.

The Anglian Water's @one Alliance is a partnership consisting of 8 companies, who each provide specialised knowledge allowing the @one Alliance to deliver complex delivery projects in the most efficient way, reducing the cost to Anglian Water’s customers.
