Mitek Systems, a global leader in mobile image capture for digital identity proofing and check deposit, is looking for an experienced mobile Web Developer who possesses a passion for pushing technology to its limits to join our cross-functional development delivery team in USA/Mexico. As a member of Mitek’s team you will be working on products and solutions that will help to transform mobile banking and the identity authentication markets. You will work with our team of talented engineers to design, integrate, and enhance customer-facing mobile web SDKs and applications.
What You Will Do (Essential Responsibilities):
- Design, develop, test, and release production-ready mobile web SDKs, demo apps and code samples.
- Integrate 3rd-party libraries, WASM, and internal C++ computer vision libraries into the SDKs.
- Write and execute automated unit/functional/integration/UI tests to ensure the quality of our products.
- Create and maintain internal software documentation and public Developer’s Guide.
- Collaborate with other software engineers, researchers, product managers, and cloud/operation engineers to determine requirements and ensure alignments.
- Follow Agile/Scrum processes like daily stand-ups, refinements, planning, and retrospectives.

What You'll Need (Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):
- 5+ years of experience in web development leveraging modern development platforms.
- Experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, ES2016, and front-end SPA frameworks (React/Redux).
- Experience with Npm, Yarn, or similar package managers and Webpack.
- Experience with WebAssembly.
- Experience with Jest, Cypress, or similar front-end testing framework.
- Understanding of agile methodologies and practices.
- Experience partnering with team members to speed adoption of new tools and technologies.
- Experience with building automated unit and integration tests for repeatable and reliable regression testing.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
What Would be Nice (Preferred Skills & Experience):
- 1+ year of programming experience implementing back-end production systems.
- Experience developing Web SDK for mobile devices.
- Java, Bash scripting, Groovy, Python, and C++ programming languages.
- Experience with image processing.
- Understanding of machine learning principles and architectures.
- Experience developing systems based on user stories.
- Experience using Agile methodologies and practices.

- 100% remote working environment for candidates located in the United States
