About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for our native application Mobile SDKs. These Mobile SDKs provide easy tools for integrators to use our APIs to fetch data and post analytic events. This engineer will be responsible for maintenance and documentation of existing features as well as API updates required in the future. This documentation is client facing and may require occasional client communication. The engineer will also contribute to our JavaScript platforms as a member of those teams. They will partner with other developers to execute assigned tickets, provide code review, and document architecture and decisions.
What You Will Do
- Maintain Stylitics’ app native Mobile SDKs (Kotlin/Swift)
- Develop new integrations with internal systems in Stylitics’ Mobile SDK (Kotlin/Swift)
- Write and maintain technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders
- Design and implement technical features and enhancements in our frontend systems using JavaScript
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and approaches for Mobile SDKs and Frontend Systems
- Participate in code reviews and ensure all code changes meet established coding standards
- Work closely with product direction to implement meaningful changes to our systems
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience with Kotlin or Swift
- 3+ years of experience with Kotlin and Android application development
- 3+ years of experience with Swift and iOS application development
- 2+ years of JavaScript experience (Frontend)
- Proven success on delivering projects
- Experience working as part of a team
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English (verbally and written)
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Svelte, React, or similar
- Experience working on, or integrating with, large retail e-commerce sites
- Experience working in, or with, the retail industry
- Experience maintaining public documentation
Salary
When we find the right person, we try to put our best foot forward with an offer that excites you and is fair on our end. We consider the skills and experience you bring, what similar jobs pay, and make sure there’s equal pay for equal work among those you’ll be working with. The compensation amount for this role is targeted at $80,000. The final offer also takes into account other factors of a total compensation package, including what is market-based on the region. Please note that the range is being shared in good faith and is subject to modification based on changing market and business conditions.
