About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team and take ownership of building secure, scalable, and user-friendly authentication and account management flows. As a senior engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing frontend applications while mentoring junior engineers and driving best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop secure, high-performance frontend applications using React.js, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS.

  • Implement security best practices, preventing XSS, CSRF, CORS, and authentication risks.

  • Lead complex projects, collaborate with backend, product, and design teams.

  • Establish best practices for code quality, testing, and performance optimization.

  • Automate testing with Jest, Cypress, and React Testing Library; conduct code reviews and mentor engineers.

  • Optimize and operate large-scale production systems, ensuring efficiency and performance.

Requirements

  • BE in Computer Science (or equivalent) with 5 to 10 years of frontend development experience. 

  • Strong expertise in React.js, Next.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and frontend security best practices.

  • Proficient in modern tooling like Webpack, Vite, Babel, and ESLint with hands-on experience in Jest, Cypress, and React Testing Library. 

  • Skilled in performance optimization, API integrations (REST/GraphQL), and Agile development. 

  • Experienced in mentoring junior engineers and leading technical discussions. 

  • Strong problem-solving in frontend system design, API design, scalability, performance, user experience, internationalization, accessibility, and security. 

Nice to Have

  • Experience building and securing authentication and user account management flows.

  • Experience in Identity standards and protocols like OAuth, OpenID

  • Experience in mobile web development and design tools like Figma

  • Knowledge of backend-for-frontend (BFF) architecture.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps for frontend
