About the Role

Uber Freight company, is looking for experienced Sr. Sales professionals with a background in the Transportation, Supply Chain or Logistics field. Our Executives  will be Focus on MidMarket Accounts (following UF MX definition) new business acquisition and expansion selling UF Mexico brokerage and/or customs solutions depending on his/her area of expertise                                                                                                                                                                              

What the Candidate Will Do                                                          

  • Close & implement business opportunities with new and existing MidMarket Accounts customers to meet/ exceed his/her individual and team’s sales goals.
  • Prospection of new and potential customers according to Uber Freight´s ideal customer profile
  • Visits and calls to potential customers (Prospecting 10-15 hours/week, with 10-15 On-site meetings goal per week).
  • Detect and develop new business opportunities and solutions with prospects and existing customers.
  • Develop and implement Strategic Account Plans for their top 3 prospects/customers.
  • Transition and contribute to onboard opportunities closed to operations departments.
  • Customer Relationship, build trust, rapport and credibility with customers, professional communications; effective and courteous communications, facilitate access to customers to different departments within Uber Freight when required.
  • Build and grow the network of coaches and strategize to increase the number of UF proponents to increase the chances to win deals.
  • Identify, develop and close on new business with MidMarket Accounts.
  • Follow up and implement Uber Freight’s sales methodology.
  • Represent Uber Freight in a professional way with customers outside of our facilities.
  • Face-to-face and virtual calls with potential customers.
  • Effectively communicate customer needs, vision and challenges to product leaders, operations and pricing experts.

  • Financials--Aptitude to learn how to calculate estimated net revenue for a given opportunity.
  • Customer centricity--Commits to and enjoys providing exceptional service to internal and external customers.
  • Goal Oriented – Commits to achieve business goals according with your experience (Brokerage / Customs Broker / TMS). Humble & Hungry                                                                                                                   

Preferred Qualifications           

  • This job will require extensive travel by car within the territory/region of jurisdiction
  • Will also require air travel for longer distances (within and outside Mexico)
  • 3+ Years in Logistics related positions, 2+ years in sales and/or account management related functions in logistics, transportation, international trade and customs
  • College Major Degree, preferentially in International Trade / International Business, Industrial Engineering
