The Senior Quality Engineer will be responsible for leading the quality department at a plant focused on the production of logistics automation systems, such as conveyors. This role requires strong expertise in quality systems, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex engineering projects in a high-mix environment. This strategic position offers the potential to evolve into a Quality Manager role.

Tasks and Qualifications:
This is what you will do:
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective quality systems to ensure compliance with international standards (ISO 9001 or others as applicable).
- Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality.
- Act as the leader of the quality team, providing direction and technical support.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the plant.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality across the entire value chain.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues using structured methodologies (8D, Six Sigma, Lean).
- Lead improvement initiatives to reduce defects, rework, and associated costs.
- Work closely with the Engineering department to ensure quality in designs and processes.
- Ensure manufacturing processes comply with specifications and standards.
What are we looking for:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 7 years in quality-related roles within complex manufacturing environments.
- In-depth knowledge of quality systems, statistical tools, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Advanced English proficiency.
