At eBay, we're more than a global ecommerce leader — we’re changing the way the world shops and sells. Our platform empowers millions of buyers and sellers in more than 190 markets around the world. We’re committed to pushing boundaries and leaving our mark as we reinvent the future of ecommerce for enthusiasts.
Our customers are our compass, authenticity thrives, bold ideas are welcome, and everyone can bring their unique selves to work — every day. We're in this together, sustaining the future of our customers, our company, and our planet.
Join a team of passionate thinkers, innovators, and dreamers — and help us connect people and build communities to create economic opportunity for all.

About the team and the role:

TCGplayer, now a part of eBay, connects hobbyists and hobby businesses: we relentlessly pursue customer-focused innovations to provide the most compelling destination and tools for collectible card game enthusiasts and professional sellers. We’re dedicated to serving the global collectible community – millions of buyers and tens of thousands of retailers – representing a $25B hobby market.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will demonstrate your experience and success to act as an inspiring leader and driving force for one of TCGplayer’s critical central initiatives: our Ingest & Pricing products. In this role, you’ll intersect customer needs with our business goals and align cross-departmental teams to deliver features that improve the quality of life for TCGplayer’s sellers.
You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment to design, implement, and evaluate initiatives that enhance our customers’ lives. Our team prides itself on a culture that fosters camaraderie, embraces diversity, and exudes passion. If you like delighting customers across the collectibles community and can clearly and persuasively articulate “why” something must get done, this is the job for you.

You don’t have to be a hobbyist or gamer to love working at TCGplayer, but you should be comfortable adopting (and amplifying!) our dedication to making hobbies and games accessible, fun, and exciting for everyone.

What you will accomplish:

As a Senior Product Manager on the Digitization team, you will:

  • Improve the core product experience for our sellers by focusing on tools and services that automate the process of figuring what an item is, what it is worth, getting it listed, and physically organized among other items. Our tools are an indispensable part of sellers’ workflows.

  • Build strategies for these products that are bold, cost-effective, and serve our domestic and international customers’ needs.

  • Resolve customer needs through direct interactions, qualitative research, and statistical analysis.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams of developers, marketing, design, operations, and sales professionals to launch, optimize, and innovate on TCGplayer’s seller tools for product identification and pricing.

  • Define and lead the product vision and strategy, measuring and achieving high-reaching goals, regardless of temporary setbacks.

  • Serve as subject matter authority on small business hobby and collectible sellers’ practices, operations, and paths to long-term success.

  • Document software (and possibly hardware) product definitions, from initial value propositions and use cases to individual features and workflows.

  • Communicate the goals and guide the delivery of in-house and 3rd-party product solutions, including roadmaps, backlogs, achievements, and go-to-market plans.

You’ll also contribute to TCGplayer’s professional culture and values.

  • Socialize your priorities, process, and outcomes; gather feedback and new insights from your customers and teammates.

  • Ruthlessly simplify, prioritize, and sequence competing opportunities to deliver the most value soonest.

  • Develop and iterate TCGplayer’s product management practices, processes, and standards as a growth-stage organization.

What you will bring:

  • 7+ years of product management experience, including subject matter expertise in B2B products and services, both within the United States and internationally.

  • Experience with SaaS products, especially automated product matching/identification and pricing, in both ecommerce and brick & mortar retail contexts.

  • Experience launching and iterating on products demonstrating computer vision and/or machine learning.

  • Understanding of fundamental differences between traditional and deep learning-based approaches to computer vision.

  • Solid technical or design background with hands-on experience in design thinking, agile software development, and mobile/web technologies

  • MBA or MS/MA degree in Operations, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field

  • A deep love of the hobby, gaming, or collectibles space
