As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead the development of product vision and strategy for Vimeo's monetization initiatives, focusing on customer experience, pricing, and ongoing experimentation to enhance conversion and retention rates. Summary Generated by Built In

Vimeo is the world's leading all-in-one video software solution, providing professional-grade tools for creators to host, distribute, and monetize their video content. We empower storytellers to connect with audiences, build thriving communities, and turn their passion into sustainable businesses. Our product team champions the interests of both our users and our business to create exceptional products.

Monetization at its simplest is about fine-tuning what a customer gets and how much they pay. Vimeo has a wide assortment of powerful tools with many more on the way and a wide array of customers spanning solo users up to Fortune 100 enterprises. Building and operationalizing a pricing strategy that is simple and easy-to-understand yet can accommodate the nuances of all these possibilities is at the heart of monetization. We are looking for a senior product manager to lead the way. You must deeply understand our value proposition and work tirelessly to devise monetization strategies that connect that value to the customer. You must be an infinitely curious tinkerer and experimenter seeking out ways to always be testing, iterating, and improving.

As a Senior Product Manager for Monetization, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting a compelling set of features that perfectly aligns with customer needs — and pricing so they can't resist! You will guide the team responsible for defining, developing, and optimizing Vimeo's subscription plans, add-ons, and core monetization experiences. We pride ourselves on our ability to continuously experiment and refine our approach to develop products that are tailored to meet the evolving needs of our customers. This person will be responsible for formulating strategy, leading execution and leveraging data to enhance the monetization experiences that drive conversion and retention. This is a highly cross-functional role requiring close collaboration with key stakeholders.

If you have a passion for data-driven decision-making, a dedication to continuous improvement, a customer-centric approach, and an attitude that anything is possible, then Vimeo is the place for you.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop a compelling product vision and roadmap that is built on top of a deep, data-driven understanding of customer and business needs in the Monetization space.
  • Lead continuous experimentation for Vimeo's subscription pricing and packaging to drive conversion and retention.
  • Own the end-to-end customer experience for pricing pages, billing and subscription management, checkout flows, and upgrade/upsell modals.
  • Set a high bar for success, never accept the status quo, look for every opportunity you can find to innovate.
  • Roll up your sleeves, dig into the details, create requirements, and drive a steady cadence of improvements.
  • Manage the execution of initiatives from solution through launch — engaging all the right teams at Vimeo along the way.
  • Work cross-functionally throughout the organization, partnering with engineering, design, QA, marketing, finance, analytics, and more.

Skills and knowledge you should possess:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management with a proven track record of successfully launching product solutions and driving positive outcomes.
  • 3+ years of experience with various aspects of Monetization or Pricing and Packaging, preferably within subscription-based software businesses.
  • Quantitative analytics experience, including the ability to analyze complex data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Qualitative data experience, including ability to conduct user interviews and derive insights to inform decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience with executive communication is preferred.
  • Proven self-starter with a bias for action who can both execute and strategize, and who is comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Proficiency with SQL, Looker, Pendo, Amplitude or similar tools.

Base Salary Range:

  • NYC Metro, Bay Area, Seattle, & Los Angeles:    $136,000 - $187,000
  • All other US cities outside above metro areas:   $122,400 - $168,300

At Vimeo, we strive to hire and nurture amazing talent across the globe. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to experience, specialized skills, internal alignment, and location.

Base salary is just one component of Vimeo’s total rewards philosophy. We offer a wide range of benefits and perks that appeal to the variety of needs across our diverse employee base! Other rewards may include variable compensation and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

We also offer paid time off, generous 401k match, commuter benefits, Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA), fertility reimbursement, group term life insurances, wellbeing resources, and more.
