About the Role
Disney's technology organization is growing our team of passionate product designers on a mission to entertain, inform and inspire people around the globe through the power of unparalleled storytelling. As the group that develops Disney Plus, Hulu, ESPN+, and dozens of other Disney apps and enterprise products, we are builders with a relentless dedication to adding a little magic to people's lives - whether they are streaming a Pixar movie or using the tools that power our business.
We are seeking an exceptional Sr. Product Designer to fill a critical role in our Enterprise Design team. Joining a talented, collaborative, and diverse group of product designers, you will have a unique opportunity to help create the future of Disney's thriving streaming business. Our mission is to design software and bring simplicity to processes for our cast members, unify our efforts as a team, and unlock creative potential.
Our ideal candidate is a designer who demonstrates thorough understanding of design processes and refined craft skills, with a proven ability to drive significant business impact.

  • Design innovative, usable and understandable web applications that open new creative possibilities for our teams.
  • Rapidly produce multiple solutions using sketches, wireframes and prototypes while instinctively knowing the proper level of detail to communicate your point of view to peers and stakeholders.
  • Look towards building sustainable and scalable solutions by developing digital design patterns and libraries.
  • Follow a user-centered design process, understanding real users motivations, behaviors and goals. Our teams focus on listening to fans, and letting their needs guide us to the best solutions. It's important for us to know we are solving for real people and not just the competition or stakeholders.
  • Work with small multi-disciplinary teams. You'll partner closely with engineering, product, and operational partners to find elegant but practical solutions to design challenges.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience designing sophisticated digital products, demonstrated through a comprehensive online portfolio that showcases strong mastery of design fundamentals and principles
  • Deep experience creating enterprise solutions or user-focused SaaS products, with a proven ability to balance complex functionality with intuitive user experiences
  • Strong commitment to user-centered design, consistently leveraging user research, feedback, and A/B testing to validate design decisions and improve product experiences
  • Extensive background in MVP development, with expertise in rapid prototyping methodologies and iterative design processes that drive products from concept to launch
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail, taking full ownership of projects from initial concept through final implementation
  • Track record of staying current with emerging design technologies, tools, and industry trends, with a passion for continuous learning and professional development
  • Proven ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, using design thinking to drive innovation and create novel solutions to complex problems
  • Collaborative team player who actively contributes ideas and constructively engages with colleagues to elevate the overall design practice
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
