Job Title: Senior Planner Retail Ready to Wear
Primary Purpose: The Senior Planner for Retail Ready to Wear will analytically support the formulation of the global product assortment and the phases of product life cycle (preseason product line planning and in-season global trend analysis). The position will partner with Merchandising and business channels to set and ensure growth targets are achieved and support all aspects of buying. This position will report to the Manager, Retail Ready to Wear and Licensed.

Topline Assortment Planning

  • Provide yearly and seasonal, topline financial framework that acts as a guide for the assortment
  • Manage topline OTB focusing on sales trend changes and key sales and inventory KPIs


Global Assortment Planning:

  • Analyze and identify global and regional product trends, through key weekly reporting
  • Continuously leverage analysis, product trends, and productivity to inform global plans and assortments
  • Measure new trends, and apply them to short- and long-range product plans and projections
  • Collaborate with Global Merchandising to buy and plan curated global assortment
  • Plan global sales and investments against key product strategies across markets, leveraging strong business partnerships to maximize sales opportunities, maintaining Global message, in collaboration with Global Merchandising and in market business units
  • Share buy reviews with Global partners, highlighting sales and investment strategies


Sku level OTB Planning:

  • Manage Channel OTB by anticipating Open to Buy needs to support seasonal newness and carryover investment in collaboration with and inventory management teams


In Season Management:

  • Action on shipment re-routing, BU inventory sharing, and global chase opportunities based on early reads on newness sales, in collaboration with Brand Operations
  • Report global best sellers assess success of newness launches, noting key variance by region
  • Provide analysis and reporting to identify global and regional product trends and recommendations for Senior Executives


Other:

  • Effectively prioritizes and coordinates deadlines with cross-functional partners
  • Foster effective teamwork and communication with key business partners (i.e. Product Development, Global Merchandising, Planning & Logistics, Global Coach Team, Business Unit teams)
