Role & Responsibility:
Responsible for senior level consultation and design, implementation, sustainment, and measurement of talent processes, in areas such as: culture, engagement, performance management, leadership development, diversity and inclusion, talent planning, succession management, career development, and change management which link individual and team performance with business needs.
- Areas of Focus for this role: Employee Satisfaction & Engagement – this would include oversight of the annual employee engagement survey, measurement strategies, etc.
- Aligns strategies and interventions to Children’s strategic needs and balanced scorecard enablers, and ensures integration into the overarching people and culture strategy.
- Provides senior level consultative services on complex, multifaceted initiatives to determine needs and gaps and to facilitate transformational business changes, organizational design, leadership development, performance and culture change. Plans, implements and evaluates major organizational-wide changes in order to enhance and sustain a values-based culture.
- Researches, benchmarks, and assesses current practices against best practices in order to provide innovative solutions, principles and integrated frameworks related to areas such as: organizational culture, leadership, engagement, talent planning, diversity and inclusion, career development, change management, and performance and how these best integrate with other talent processes. Communicates findings simply and directly.
- Measures ROI of organizational development program initiatives through people, service, quality and finance metrics. Analyzes and communicates results in alignment to strategy. Leads process improvement efforts that increase simplification and drive greater value. Measures and communicates key success metrics. Follows up with sustainability plan. Prepares budget and works within these guidelines.
- Designs and oversees the leadership coaching process. Provides expertise and coaching in using and implementing leadership assessments and multi-source feedback instruments.
Schedule & Location Details:
- 1.0 FTE – 40 Hours/Week
- Hybrid – Majority of the time would be spent working remote with the exception for onsite facilitation as needed. This will vary from week to week.
Education & Certification (Experience can be substituted for education)
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s degree preferred with emphasis in Business, Organization Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field.
- Coaching certification strongly desired.
- PHR/SPHR/CPLP certification strongly desired.
Experience & Skills: (Education can be substituted for experience)
- 10 or more years of experience in designing talent process frameworks, specifically in leadership development, organizational culture work, performance and talent, change management and organizational/leadership consulting.

- Advanced knowledge of organizational systems with strategic mindset with the ability to lead the execution of complex, system-wide, multi-faceted and long-term programs and projects. Proven ability to align these initiatives with the organization's strategy and integrate with other initiatives.
- Technology savvy with interest in using technology to work more efficiently.
- Demonstrated high level of consulting expertise and influencing skills, including experience in developing other internal consultants and coaching senior leaders.
- Ability to be certified and lead certification in any program led by the organizational development department, such as Children’s competency framework and/or strengths coaching. Other examples include: change management, culture assessments and tools, leadership and team building assessment. .
