Job Title: Sr. Network Infrastructure Engineer

Summary:   

As a Senior member of our Infrastructure Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our hybrid networking environments. Your in-depth experience with Zscaler technologies (ZIA, ZPA), Cisco ACI, Palo Alto firewalls, Meraki (full stack), and traditional Cisco networking solutions will be a key in ensuring the robustness, scalability, and security of our network infrastructure.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Design, implement, and maintain hybrid network infrastructures that integrate on-premises data centers with Azure cloud environments.
• Develop and enforce network architecture standards, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Optimize network traffic within Azure and between on-premises and cloud environments.
• Implement and manage Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) for secure and efficient access to internet and internal resources.
• Integrate Zscaler solutions into the organization's security framework.
• Administer and optimize Palo Alto firewalls to maintain robust security across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Deploy and manage Meraki switches, security appliances, and wireless infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance to ensure reliability.
• Oversee traditional Cisco networking environments, ensuring seamless integration with cloud and hybrid environments.
• Maintain and optimize existing Cisco ACI and Route/Switch infrastructure.
• Ensure all network solutions adhere to company security policies and industry regulations.
• Conduct security assessments and work with security teams to address vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive network solutions.
• Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures.

Competencies: 

• Proficiency in hybrid network design, implementation, and management.
• Strong knowledge of Data Center networking, Zscaler technologies, Palo Alto firewalls, and Meraki and Cisco ACI and traditional networking tools.
• Experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on diagnosing and resolving complex network issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards in network configuration and documentation. 

Education and/or Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on hybrid environments.
• Hands-on experience with Azure networking services, Zscaler technologies (ZIA, ZPA), Palo Alto firewalls, Meraki full stack, and Cisco networking solutions.
• Zscaler certifications (ZCCA, ZTCA)
• Palo Alto certifications (PCNSA/E)
• Cisco certifications (CCNP, CCIE)
