We are looking for a high end Cisco Network Specialist and in this Job Role will have expertise in one or more networking system technology areas. Specialists who apply their technical skills to support the operation and maintenance of vendor products, services, and solutions. Someone with enough knowledge to solve complex onsite network issues and being responsibility for sizing, troubleshooting, and resolving critical client network situations.

Term: 6-12 month (High visibility for renewal)

Job Skills/Necessary knowledge of:

15+ Year Cisco Network Specialists or equivalent in network certifications + experience

Cisco CCNA, CCNP or CCIE Certifications necessary, or equivalent in years of experience

In-depth experience with Wireless, Wireless Network Implementation, Wireless Network Troubleshooting, and Wireless Network Design.

Knowledge of VRF’s (Virtual Routing and Forwarding)

VOIP Phone support

Ability to reverse engineer issues within a network or wireless network where little or no documentation may exist.

Apply Knowledge of IP Convergence Applications

Apply Knowledge of Point to Point Tunneling Protocol

Apply Knowledge of Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol

Support Network Performance

Apply Knowledge of Network Architectures

Support Wide Area Networks (WANs)

Perform Install/Mgmt of Complex WAN Environments

Apply High Availability Networking Principles

Apply Knowledge of Virtual Private Networks

Apply Knowledge of Public/Private Keys

Perform Design & Implement Networking Components

Apply Knowledge of Secure Socket Layer

Perform Install/Mgmt of Complex LAN Environments

Support Local Area Network (LANs)

Apply Knowledge of Network Capacity Plan, Perf Analysis

Manage Network Performance/Capacity

Use Network Problem Determination Tools

Apply Knowledge of Internet Protocol Security

Special requirements:

Excellent speaking & writing skills

Great communicator

Someone willing to work with a team

Weekend OT work may be necessary
