About the role

As a Senior Marketing Data Analyst within Revenue Marketing, you’ll be instrumental in shaping data-driven marketing strategies that drive measurable growth across our revenue organization, including demand generation, channel partnerships, and sales. In this role, you’ll build and optimize data infrastructure that delivers actionable insights, empowering the team to make high-impact, data-informed decisions. Leveraging advanced analytics and predictive modeling, you’ll help forecast marketing trends and inform strategic investment choices. You’ll also take ownership of data integrity, working closely with marketing operations to ensure quality data collection and analysis. Reporting to the Head of Revenue Marketing, you’ll play a pivotal role in aligning analytics with our marketing vision and maximizing campaign effectiveness through experimentation and robust KPI tracking.

What you'll achieve

  • Build and Automate Reporting Solutions: Work with leaders across marketing and revenue teams to create easy-to-use reporting tools that promote transparency and accountability. Automate routine reports to give Revenue Operations clear, valuable insights and more time to focus on strategic work.
  • Drive Data-Backed Marketing Strategies: Use data to shape strategies in demand generation, account-based marketing (ABM), and channel partnerships. Set up performance metrics that guide smart decisions as we expand our marketing channels, ensuring our resources are used effectively.
  • Lead Customer Acquisition Forecasting: Own the customer acquisition forecast process within Revenue Operations, working closely with Finance to track progress toward goals. Use predictive analytics to anticipate trends and help the team stay ahead of changing customer needs.
  • Ensure Data Quality Across Systems: Partner with Business Systems to improve data quality and reliability, making sure all processes and tools work smoothly together. Take the lead in ensuring data accuracy and setting up reliable data collection and reporting practices.
  • Use Advanced Analytics to Improve Campaigns: Apply statistical methods like A/B testing to dig into campaign performance and find opportunities for improvement. Support marketing operations by helping optimize our technology setup so it can deliver clear, actionable insights for the team
  • Ensure Data Integrity and Quality: Build and maintain processes that guarantee high-quality, accurate data collection and reporting, serving as a key steward of data integrity within the revenue marketing team.
  • Drive Predictive Analytics and Modeling: Leverage advanced analytics and predictive modeling to forecast marketing trends, guiding strategy and anticipating customer needs.
  • Optimize Marketing Investments: Support budget optimization by providing data-backed analyses that inform resource allocation, helping prioritize initiatives with the greatest revenue impact.
  • Enhance Marketing Technology Stack: Collaborate with the marketing operations team to optimize our technology stack, ensuring it supports comprehensive analytics and seamless reporting.

You are ideal for this role if you have

  • 7+ Years of Relevant Experience: Extensive experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Growth Analytics, or Business Intelligence, with a focus on leveraging data to drive strategic decisions.
  • 5+ Years Collaborating with Marketing and Sales Teams: Solid understanding of go-to-market (GTM) metrics and how they inform marketing strategies and sales initiatives.
  • Data-Driven Problem Solver: Proven ability to translate complex business processes and data into actionable analytics solutions that address key business questions.
  • Expert SQL Proficiency: Mastery of SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets, coupled with familiarity with Salesforce, Marketo (or comparable marketing automation tools), and a BI tool (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, etc.) to create insightful reports and dashboards.
  • Strong Dimensional Modeling and Data Warehousing Knowledge: Deep understanding of dimensional modeling principles and data warehousing concepts to design and maintain efficient data structures.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Skills: Demonstrated ability to work effectively across teams, understanding the underlying needs behind data requests to deliver tailored analytics solutions.
  • Data Quality and Troubleshooting Expertise: Experience in identifying and resolving data discrepancies, working closely with Business Systems and Engineering teams to address upstream data issues and improve data integrity.
  • Curiosity and Analytical Mindset: A strong desire to understand complex systems and processes, with a knack for creating clarity and order from chaotic data environments.
  • Constructive Attitude Toward Improvement: A balanced approach to evaluation, with the ability to recognize what’s working well while identifying opportunities for enhancement.

Compensation/Location

Must be willing to be onsite in our SF office 2-3 days per week.

Salary Range: $133,000 - $184,000

Our compensation package includes equity and benefits in addition to salary.

Please note that the range listed is for someone based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
